USGI MSS 4 Piece Sleep System
Everything you need all year (except maybe a sleeping pad)
The US Modular Sleep System (MSS) consists of 4 pieces. A light patrol sleeping bag, meant for temperatures of 30F - 50F as your first layer; the thicker intermediate bag which is rated to -10F; the external Goretex shell in M81 Woodland and finally, a large stuffsack to carry the entire package in. Together this set is rated to -30F when wearing appropriate layers underneath. If you split the set up for the season you are in, you’re covered year round!
